Berlanga began his rental boxing career in 2016 as a free agent. He was then promoted to Top Rank in the last 11 of 20 fights. However, in January of last year, they cordially ended their relationship.

The fighter is scheduled to have one fight next May and then one more before turning his gun on Alvarez.

“The list we have is to fight now against the opponent they put us, then do one more and then Canelo. We want to fight with the best. Edgar has already had three 10-round fights and is ready to go 12. At this level, we understand that you don’t have to have a world championship to face Canelo..
