San Francisco. Stephen Curry had 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds before injuring his leg on a defensive play in the Golden State Warriors’ 119-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday without star Luka Doncic due to injury.

The Warriors said Curry’s X-ray ruled out a serious injury. However, he will undergo an MRI.

Draymond Green had 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists, and Jamihal Green had 14 points. Jonathan Cuminga and Donte DiVincenzo added 13 apiece in another strong performance from the reserves as Golden State took a 40-23 lead after the first quarter.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 25 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. added 22 and Dorian Finney-Smith finished with 18 to lead the Mavs, who have won two straight and three of four. The last three meetings with the Warriors were won, the overall result in the series is 10-12.

But Doncic is averaging 33.4, 8.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game. Dallas’ Slovenian star sprained his right knee in the third quarter of Thursday’s home win over New Orleans.

Coach Jason Kidd said Doncic will also miss Monday’s game against Utah. Then the team will see how it develops.
