The Miss Puerto Rico Petite pageant is looking for a new beauty queen for the 2023 edition. The event, which has honored petite women in Puerto Rico for over 42 years, is looking for girls with the potential to represent the island in an international pageant.

In the last two editions of Miss Petite International, Puerto Rico managed to reach the top positions, with the crown of Yannina Ruiz in 2021 and Virreina’s position with Amanda Ramos in the last edition. Now, Amanda Ramos points to other areas of her career that she’s ending her reign to take on new challenges.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity that Tiara Media Inc. provided to me through the Miss Puerto Rico Petite event. I left with an unforgettable personal and professional experience gained during the training process. It is an honor for me to be a member of this great company and to represent Puerto Rico at an international competition where we have been able to successfully position ourselves,” Ramos said in a press release.

Carlos Montaner, President of Miss Puerto Rico Petite, said, “This pageant was created with the goal of providing the best experience for girls 5’6” or under in Puerto Rico, and we feel very honored to be able to continue working to ensure that our candidates and queens receive the best tools and knowledge you need to succeed in the world of beauty and entertainment. This year is sure to be an unforgettable experience for each of the girls taking part.”

After more than 42 years since its inception, Miss Puerto Rico Petite continues to fulfill its purpose: all girls in this category have a real opportunity to win the national pageant and represent Puerto Rico with all the tools to not only shine, but to win.
